We’ve organised a Hustings event for the Frome Vale Ward. At a hustings, election candidates or parties debate policy and answer questions from the audience, allowing voters to hear the views of candidates and parties.

Why are we organising a ‘Hustings’

As residents and committee members of the FCPG, we are eager to hear from the potential candidates vying to be our next council representatives. We want to know their views on the future of Fishponds and how they intend to address the community’s concerns. We believe our fellow Fishponds residents would also appreciate the chance to ask them questions.

Who will be there?

We have arranged a meeting in each council ward in Fishponds and invited all the candidates from every party contesting that ward to attend.

We also thought this would be a great chance for residents to meet FCPG committee members, learn more about the committee, and find out how they can get involved if they’re interested.

We’ve posted the event on our Facebook page and would appreciate it if you could indicate your interest in attending. This will help us gauge the number of attendees.
