Who are we?
The Fishponds Community Planning Group is a passionate group of community members united by a common purpose: to create a better tomorrow for our families, friends, and neighbours. At the end of July 2023, we were established as a community planning group to act as a conduit of information between developers and community members in the central Fishponds area about proposed major developments.
As a community group, we seek to:
- Engage constructively with residents, local businesses and developers.
- Collate the views of residents and local businesses about major planning applications in our area and ensure that these views are considered.
- Encourage development that will be positive for the local community, both current and future residents.
